The launcher was rewritten in 2020 to use mainly an untrue Java Native Interface to communicate with Minecraft: Bedrock Edition. This 32bit Launcher was modified to arm64, x86_64, shortly after it was released on the Google Play Store.
AppImageP
Prebuilt AppImage binary's for linux x86_64, x86, armv7 hardfloat and armv8 are available here. After downloading simply open terminal, chmod +x Minecraft_Bedrock_Launcher-x86_64.0.0.661.AppImage and run it. It should be possible to run it by double-clicking using one of the Filemanagers similar to an *.exe file on Windows. Otherwise run it from a Terminal ./Minecraft_Bedrock_Launcher-x86_64.0.0.661.AppImage
If this is the first time installing an AppImage and you'd like to have an Icon in your startmenu
Install AppImageLauncher. Run the AppImage as before. AppImageLauncher will ask for you to integrate it. Select yes to continue.
FlatpakP
You can also install mcpelauncher Linux via Flathub. Online Games First, install Flatpak and then run it.
