One of the most hilarious films of all-time, Man With a Van is a hilarious sequel the financial disaster Argyll and Costello Christmas classic It's a Wonderful Life. The same clueless American innocence that characterized the previous film Russell Brand plays the Van Man, the eponymous Van Man, a man who travels back to modern-day New York City, where the two meet a young woman working in a theatre. Instead of saving her, he decides to run off with her in order to save his struggling business... But are they able to save their marriage, or will Van Man destroy his family and his livelihood along the way?

If your mind is flooded with images of Michael Caine, you probably imagine Caine in some of the iconic scenes in A Few Good Men, where he plays a bad guy who's about to be executed by authorities. The film Man With a Van, though, Caine plays Robert "Bob" Wurzelbacher, a shrewd former driver of a moving truck who knows what it's like handling people's possessions and the Van Man himself. As the film progresses, we get to know more about the peculiar man who ends up having an enjoyable time doing it. He even ends up getting away with his own cousin after being informed that the authorities want to check out his trucks. But when two moving trucks who are from the other side of the country decide to make a stop at his house, things go from bad to worse.

Brand plays the role of the only man who's not afraid of getting his hands dirty literally. After letting two movers make a quick escape from his home, he gets his own vehicle to complete the remainder of the job. Two movers are amazed by his ability to get the job done quickly and effortlessly, and even allowing the two trucks he employs for the move to break a few laws (one being related to the dimensions of the fronts of the vehicles). If they are willing to assist him, Bob realizes that he has more happening throughout his day than he ever thought. But despite all of that, he's still dedicated to helping others and making life better for people around him.

Meanwhile, a disturbed little girl called Beth finds herself having a hard adjustment to her new life. Beth is constantly being criticized however, she's disoriented about her life and what she's going to become in the new place. She tells her family about moving into Man With a Van, but they doubt her claims and soon she develops a deep fear of the new town. Two movers from earlier help her out of a tight spot once they learn of Bob's involvement in the moving. The two of them are able to save Beth and making her feel safe in the new place.

In the end, Bob develops feelings for the local girl. Man and Van London begins to work with him and they end up falling in love. Then, the unthinkable happens and their relationship is put on hold after Bob is laid off from his position at newscorp.

I would highly recommend this book to someone who has been in a similar position similar to Bob. It's a fantastic read since it's realistic and real. It's not a heartwarming story like most books, but it's full of adventure and good lessons. This isn't your run-of-the-mill moving experience, either. There's no adorable sidekicks and excessive twists.

I'd suggest this book to those who loves funny situations, and also enjoys the thrill of a thrilling story. If that's your situation, this book is surely a book worth taking the time to read. My favorite part was when Bob and Beth were able to decide to relocate into a van belonging to one of their friends. The whole thing was hilarious and made me laugh several times. I would also say that the plot was enthralling. I didn't encounter any issues with the plot, and I was captivated from beginning to end.

Man with Van , it was a great book. It's realistic and I think readers would strongly recommend it. Anyone who loves to travel and are interested in adventure and just want to see how other people deal with life in a humorous kind of way should absolutely check out Man With a Van by Paul Therien. It's a fast and enjoyable read that has a great plot.
