Minecraft Reveals Lightyear Collaboration DLC Now Available

New content, including Buzz's origin story, is now available as part of a Minecraft DLC based on the animated Pixar film Lightyear. Mc list The latest Minecraft blog post described the Lightyear DLC as an "blocky intergalactic adventure," that will have five missions. These missions allow players to fight off enemies using various tools, endure hostile environments, and fly various aircrafts to avoid obstacles.

"In the Lightyear DLC, players will be able to experience Buzz's history and help Buzz navigate an alien planet after an unfortunate crash landing," a part of the post says. "You can play through five missions with Buzz, a hero trained at the Academy, including the dangers of a swamp, a jungle, and mines along with various alien settlements."

The Lightyear DLC will also include an exclusive Lightyear-themed Character Creator. It's currently not available on Nintendo Switch, but the blog stated that it would be available soon.
