Logic dictated that there must have been a bad accident there which had closed down the highway altogether in that direction. A few minutes later and we watched a snow plow make a path for the ambulance on the Reno-bound side of the highway. Whoever had been hurt was now headed for the hospital. We were grateful for that. As I was driving straight through a green light on a city road (which one would think could never cause a problem), a driver coming in the opposite direction failed to yield for me before making his left turn. Avoid tail-gating on the freeway, and do not drive with your high beams on. If you can, avoid the roads during these conditions, but if you must drive, drive slowly, with caution, you may want to roll down the window a bit, and turn off your radio, so you have better hearing conditions. Fortunately it has a tendency to burn off by noon, and is not a nightly feature in the winter. Also, if flying into Sacramento, you may want to avoid early and late flights in the winter season, because of this weather condition.

The Indy Car race in Las Vegas this weekend was over after just eleven out of three hundred laps, due to a 15 traffic pile up that developed in the middle of the track. You can watch the Dan Wheldon crash video here to see the horrific scene that unfolded in front of Indy car fans on Sunday, though viewer discretion is advised.

In Tonopah we stopped at the gas station, hoping to get hot beverages and hopefully information on the storm. Here we would make a decision on whether to push on through or get a hotel room for the night. The fellow was more than a little strange. Not at all what we needed at a time like this. He was very non-committal in his response but admitted he'd heard that "maybe" the roads were a "little" better just past Goldfield.

The 15th hole is officially my nemesis. The tee shot requires golfers to hit into a drastically up-sloping fairway that doglegs quickly to the right. If you survive that test, the reward is a completely blind shot into an elevated green that I can never seem to find. I managed to be a flop shot away after two, not a bad effort considering my track record on this one. But if it isn't one thing, it's another. After failing to find Hansard's bombing tee ball, he played a provisional that wound up short. It was looking like my one-stroke lead was about to grow heading into the final stretch - until his original tee ball appeared some 30 feet off the green. He used the opportunity to roll in another birdie, while I managed just another bogey. So dissipated my lead.

The movie is controversial on two points, and I shall address each. Initially, there is some disagreement as to whether an American actress (Anne Hathaway) should portray England's beloved Jane. Hathaway's portrayal of Austen is entirely heartfelt, bringing the author's warm, witty personality to life. Her accent was well done, a few misses to be sure, but overall quite believable. As an American, I contend I may be less particular on this issue.

The storm is headed towards New England and will dump snow on northern New York State, Vermont, New Hampshire, and parts of Maine. This low pressure center will carry a possibility of 6 to 12 inches by Friday. Another snow storm is possible for the Midwest as a new storm is organizing in the Rockies. It will pick up intensity as it hits the central Plains on Friday. This storm brings another threat of severe weathers and lots of snow. in sổ tay tphcm is possible that this storm can start to have an impact by Saturday of this week.

My sister was driving on a country road with her cruise control set. As she rounded a bend, her tires caught a puddle. The tires hydroplaned and the car sped up, causing her to lose control and fly off the road. When she landed, she miraculously only had a few bruises, but she had to make a hysterical phone call to our dad to let him know her car was totaled.
