<br /><br /><br /><br /><br />For those unfamiliar with Austen's work and wishing to procure an appreciation of this most wonderful writer, here are my suggestions in which order to read the books.<br /><br />The 15th hole is officially my nemesis. He used the opportunity to roll in another birdie, while I managed just another bogey. So dissipated my lead.<br /><br />An hour later we saw signs for the Goldfield cemetery. Then a deathly dark and silent town. One lone patrol car stuck its head out of an alley and then turned the other way. We rounded the 20 mph 90 degree turn at 5 mph and headed out of Goldfield. Then we saw the multi-colored emergency lights ahead.<br /><br />After sitting in stopped traffic for an hour I decided that I would call out of work and return home. I turned around to come home and saw multiple downed powerlines, and trees that had broken from the heavy wind and rain that had fallen into the roadways. I observed another fender-bender on my way home, but again no one was injured. This time traffic was not stopped as the cars had been able to move out of the road. I was very glad to return home and thankfully we had enough groceries to do us for a few days in case we couldn't get back out to the grocery store.<br /><br />traffic pile I had an odd task a few years back. I chose the weekend of the New Year to go.<br /><br />My sister was driving on a country road with her cruise control set. As she rounded a bend, her tires caught a puddle. The tires hydroplaned and the car sped up, causing her to lose control and fly off the road. When she landed, she miraculously only had a few bruises, but she had to make a hysterical phone call to our dad to let him know her car was totaled.<br /><br />The girls agreed wholeheartedly. Fear was now our companion. We maneuvered the car around on the highway--there were no other cars or lights anywhere in the vicinity. Our only relief on our way back was the dark humor we enjoyed about the sinister laughing of the gas station attendant carving another hash mark into the backroom once we'd left.<br /><br />Are you flying high in your career? Everything is lining up right and you are hitting it out of the park every single day. You just can't ask for more as it just seems to be going so well for you.

Then you see something that lets you know that if you had not done so, you would have been part of a multi-car pile-up or a wreck of some kind.<br /><br />Too often, people obtain a ticket and pay the fine rather than deal with the process of going to court. Many people are unsure how to challenge a moving violation. There is a perception that whatever the police officer said is the only thing that matters. These views are untrue. Any traffic lawyer will tell you that in many cases, police officers make mistakes. Sometimes, the equipment is faulty, or the wrong driver is cited. Protect yourself from a moving violation you were not responsible for with a traffic lawyer.
