Ever since that night in 1984, I have done channeling in a variety of ways. I've done automatic writing with either pen and paper or computer screen and keyboard. It will pick up intensity as it hits the central Plains on Friday. This storm brings another threat of severe weathers and lots of snow. It is possible that this storm can start to have an impact by Saturday of this week.

It was snowing harder now. I drove back through the gas station and slowed to a stop to where the young man could see me between the parked cars. I rolled down my window and motioned him to my car. "Me?" he asked, pointing to his chest.

These feelings were only enhanced as I addressed one of the waitresses in the restaurant. Could I buy a cup of coffee? I'd be back later for breakfast with my girls.

Carl Edwards was just 25 years old and although he was a young up and coming racer, he wasn't expected to win at Atlanta against the likes of Jimmie Johnson, Jeff Gordon, Tony Stewart and Dale Earnhardt Jr. amongst many other superstars of NASCAR. I like to think I was Carl's good luck charm that day, but it soon became apparent that he didn't need much luck with the amount of talent he had as a driver. My vivid memory of that race goes right to the last lap, and the wild finish. Carl Edwards and Jimmie Johnson were racing to the finish line, side by side with Johnson just slightly ahead in his #48 Chevy. As they approached the finish line, the 2 drivers were bumping into each other's cars, trying to get the other to lose just a little speed, and allow himself to grab the win.

Speed is such an enormous factor in accidents today. Keeping the speed limit is so important. https://incatalogue.ltd/ worry what would happen if one of my tires blew at a high rate of speed. Driving too slow is also detrimental because you can be easily hit from behind. I can't stand it when I am in a car with someone else driving and they are not necessarily tailgating, but yet pretty close to the car in front of them. I always worry what if they need to stop suddenly. There is no way that they can break on time if they are going 60 or 70 miles per hour. This is how traffic pile up accidents happen.

A friend was once texting while behind the wheel of his girlfriend's car. He pulled up to an intersection, glanced quickly up from his phone, looked back down to finish his text, and pulled forward. His distracted brain had failed to notice another driver at the intersection who had the right of way, and the two pulled away from their stop signs at the same time. The result? A ticket, a wrecked car, and a very upset girlfriend!

My family and I have been affected by these dangerous thunderstorms and heavy rainfall. We are well over our needed annual rainfall in Asheville, NC, and every drop of rain seems to make matters worse. I got up early this past Sunday, September 20, and got ready to leave for work. When I opened my back door, the yard was flooded in about 3 inches of rain. I live very close to the Swannanoa River and it had flooded over into the roads and into our yard.

Gavin DeBecker discusses some of those intuitive experiences in a book he calls "The Gift of Fear." He talks about that our gut or that Fight or Flight feeling alerts us when danger is looming. If we follow through on these intuitions, we avert danger or keep safe in spite of adverse conditions. It is when we ignore those gut feelings that we have cause to feel regret.

Before you can truly understand how to construction-proof your auto insurance quotes, you have to understand why it matters. After all, what can construction companies really do to your insurance? They can't raise your rates. It's unlikely they'd intentionally sabotage your car. They don't have time to stand around with little video cameras and report everything you did that you weren't supposed to! So really, who cares?
