Have you ever known of a child who talks about having invisible friends? They may not be invisible to them. Watch young children, dogs, and cats suddenly look directly at something that we cannot see. They say that dogs and cats can see spirits. I believe many young children can see spirits as well - until it gets socialized out of them.<br /><br /><br /><center><br />  <br />  <br />  <br />  <br /> <br /> <br /></center><br /><br />Like Albert Einstein says, we use less than 10% of our brainpower. That other 90% that we rarely tap into will alert you to the veracity of anybody's words. You are your own master teacher.<br /><br />Dan Wheldon went to work excited on race day this last weekend. He was starting in last place. He was the only driver participating in a contest where both he and a randomly selected fan would win $2.5 million if he finished first. This contest interestingly was sponsored by GoDaddy. Danica Patrick was at work this day as well. A mega multi-year contract with Andretti Autosport was about to be announced as Dan was going to replace Danica Patrick beginning in the 2012 season.<br /><br /><br /><br /><br />Everything changed quickly as Dan Wheldon, at the age of 33, died as a result of injuries sustained in a 15 traffic pile up in the Indy 300 that day in Las Vegas. He went to work. He never came home.<br /><br />Anyway, naturally a movie about the world's greatest author was bound to attract the attention of her most ardent fan (that would be me, by the way). Becoming Jane is a basically fictionalized account of Jane Austen's early adulthood and her relationship with a young lawyer named Tom Lefroy.<br /><br />Have you ever got the strong hunch to call somebody? I remember one instance in particular. I got the hunch to call my maternal grandmother on a Friday. I was rather busy and decided to wait until Monday when I would have more time to talk. She died on Saturday. I always regretted that I did not follow through on that hunch.<br /><br />The state crew workers were still in the area diverting traffic from I-35 at the time of the second accident. The white SUV or van was still on its top at the time of the second accident. The second accident occurred between 9 am and 9:35 am.<br /><br />Be careful with loud radios and music. Once I had music playing loudly and I did not hear emergency vehicles around me. I could have collided with one of them. From that time on, I always kept my music to a moderate level.

We have a garage on our property and after the storm had passed we noticed that the storm had knocked the drain pipes off the east side of our garage along with 4 big pieces of siding. I'm not sure yet how much that will cost to be replaced, but I'm definitely not looking forward to it. This storm also destroyed two of my favorite Azalea's that I had planted a couple of years ago. Protect yourself from a moving violation you were not responsible for with a traffic lawyer.<br /><br />Mansfield Park - The heroine of this novel is the subject of much debate among Austen fans. Some find Fanny Price tepid and dull, but I believe that to be a low estimation of her worth. If you really give this an honest and thorough read, you'll find Fanny to be a wonderful character. True she isn't as flashy and fun as Elizabeth Bennett or Emma Woodhouse, but we can't all be lively and vivacious. This is a great book about morality and honor and discretion. I have no movie recommendations for this one. The 1999 version with Frances O'Connor was cast with some fine actors and the art direction and cinematography were first rate, but this heavily rewritten version is almost an insult to what Austen was trying to accomplish with her wonderful novel.
